2. College is a time when you have to grow up!

No matter if you go to community college or a fancy four year college far from home, you are going to have to learn to truly be an adult in many ways. You have to learn how to do things on your own like budget your money, live with roommates, get your homework done, study and pass your tests, and make sure you keep track of everything on your schedule. Mom’s not here to get you up in the morning, so you better learn to hear that alarm clock!
