Well, fundamentally, this is the category, which makes everything different between humans and other chimpanzees. Basically, it is the cerebral cortex of humans, which make them intelligent, smart, and the main thing, which sets them apart from all the other primates. Through it, humans are capable of learning various things, like being able to come up with an organized type means of communication, and inventing different tools.
Although, other primates are capable of learning and memory, their lack of cerebral cortex makes this process so tedious and they can never be able to keep up with what humans are capable of doing.
