- Another Brothers Grimm tale
Grimm’s fairy tales are often viewed as dark yet very intriguing. Some have been turned into movies, but only a few have been given the Disney treatment. Most of the Grimm tales that Disney has adapted became shorts such as The Little Red Riding Hood and The Four Musicians of Bremen. The only Grimm’s fairy tales that become Disney movies were Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Rapunzel (Tangled).
Some of the lesser known Grimm tales we wish would turn into Disney films are Iron John, The Four Skillful Brothers, and Hurleburlebutz. Now the geniuses at Disney would have to tweak them more than a little bit to make them children-friendly, but they’ve got very interesting plots to begin with.
