8. Learn some memory techniques to help you in your classes

As you travel through the next four years of classes, there is going to be a huge amount of things you have to remember. It’s a good idea to learn some good memory techniques to help you get through it all. You can use things like mnemonic techniques like the phrase, “every good boy does fine” which is used to remember musical notes. There are lots of other memory tricks that you can find by reading up on the topic online or at the library.

9. Don’t Forget to Save Time for Fun, Exercise

With all the work you have to do, it’s going to be easy to get stressed out. Try to ward this off by getting good nutrition, regular exercise and save some time for fun! You can do things like play sports with your friends, go on a date, go out to eat, or find some other ways to socialize with friends. Study is important, but so is relaxation and exercise to keep you healthy and less stressed out!

All in all, college will be a big new experience no matter where you attend or what you are studying. If you take this advice and use some of the above tips, your college experience will go more smoothly and you will not be frustrated and stressed out all of the time.
